Project Course at the IUC
Our project courses in the M.Sc. Business administration offers students the opportunity to work on a specific business management problem in the field of corporate accounting and controlling for the duration of one semester. The presentations created should be able to serve the corporate partner as a practical basis for decision-making.
In our project courses we work every semester with numerous practical partners (including Airbus, Bayern LB, BMW, B&P Consulting, Deloitte, Hilti, Linde, Wacker, ...).
Topics of project courses in the past have included:
- Artificial Intelligence in Finance and Accounting (e.g. Machine Learning and Managerial Decisions, the Role of Artificial Intelligence for Process-Design, Valuation of AI)
- Design of key figure systems (e.g. design and implementation of KPIs for sustainable finance)
- Valuation for Managerial Decision-Making (e.g. evaluation of internal campaigns or projects)
To participate in the project course at our institute, we recommend that you successfully complete the subject-specific basics in accounting and/or finance or another relevant course from the basic studies in the accounting department.
